KASCK is a rising force in thrash metal, known for their old school sound, high-octane performances, and a message that cuts through the noise. Formed in India, KASCK has quickly carved out a reputation as one of the most explosive live bands in the scene, blending old-school aggression with a fresh, relentless energy.

In 2024, KASCK made national headlines by winning the Wacken Metal Battle India and representing the country at Wacken Open Air in Germany, the world’s largest metal festival. That milestone performance put the band on the international radar and marked a defining moment in their journey.
Their debut EP, Deal with the Devil (2023), received critical acclaim for its raw sound and unflinching commentary on political and personal turmoil. The record was featured in Rolling Stone India, Unite Asia, and Rock Street Journal, solidifying KASCK’s place in the underground metal scene.
Known for their aggressive stage presence, KASCK is a relentlessly touring band, having performed across India, Nepal, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, and shared stages with some of the biggest names in metal, including Bloodywood, Jinjer, Suicidal Angels and more.
Now, in 2025, KASCK is gearing up to release their highly anticipated debut full-length album, a record that dives deeper into themes of resistance, inner conflict, and social decay while pushing their sound to new extremes.

Mayank Katare
Vocals / Guitars
The founder and frontman of KASCK, Mayank is the band’s primary songwriter, riff machine, and lyrical spearhead. Drawing from classic thrash influences and personal experiences, his guitar playing is aggressive yet precise, while his vocals deliver raw emotion and fire. As an audio engineer and internationally touring artist, Mayank brings a deep understanding of both studio craft and live performance — shaping KASCK’s identity from the ground up.
Vishal Prabhu
Bass/Backing Vocals
Vishal brings an unfiltered, high-voltage energy to KASCK — often drawing comparisons to Jason Newsted for his stage presence and fierce attack. Whether locking in with the drums or breaking out with punchy fills, his basslines provide the glue between rhythm and chaos. On stage, Vishal is a whirlwind of headbanging force, pushing the band’s live energy into overdrive.
Rahul Singh
Drums
Rahul is the newest addition to the KASCK lineup, and his arrival has brought a fresh, aggressive dynamic to the band’s sound. Influenced by modern metal giants like Decapitated, Soilwork, and other death metal powerhouses, Rahul’s style introduces a darker, more intense layer to the band’s thrash foundation. His influences contrast sharply with those of Mayank and Vishal, and it’s this clash of worlds that gives KASCK its uniquely punishing and genre-bending edge.
